Test tool and spares pack for the trip. I need to write a list to see that I forgot (or look at Mike's list)

That’s going to be epic, especially in the 356… I’m heading to Slovenia myself soon, specifically for driving Austrian / Italian and Slovenian mountain passes , but on limited number of days for the trip so don’t have the time to head down the Croatian coast so will be interested to see how you find it .
Not sure when you’re actually leaving, but are you going to try and do any of the passes on the way down like the grossglockner ( opens beg may )
We are leaving soon so probably will miss the mountains this time. The journey through Northern Europe will be a bit hurried. We hope to have more time in Sicily
This morning I cleaned the idle jets and started the motor. It takes a while with the 356, when sitting for a bit, for the petrol to get to the carbs. This I don't mind as cranking the engine on the starter allows the oil to circulate.
However, it started quite quickly

Drove in the p155 wet rain with my mate in his 240z for a Cars and coffee on the streets of Harrogate . Nice eclectic mix of cars and some ice coffee shops
That Capri looks like the lesser spotted 1.6LS - a run off model with wide banded wheels and sporty tones but at sales rep prices. I tried to get my Dad to get one as a company car, but he stuck with a Cortina estate……
Looks like a good day out James
