It's very tempting. The Spa Classic in May looks even temptinger. Which isn't a word, I know.

We did the 6 hours last year, lot's of rain. We are doing the Spa classic this time hoping for fine weather ! The 2nd round of the Porsche 2.0 cup series should be a great watch too.

Done both loads of times , both great but different.

it does seem to always rain at some point over the weekend of the 6 hours … arguably though a better race than the classic .

The classic has more buzz about it

I've just purchased the €35 early bird as I hope to make it after a trip to Switzerland and Germany. Accommodation recommendations welcome 8)

It depends upon what you are looking for. We stayed in the quite nice chalet park above Malmedy. Self catering and comfortable, plus the hairpin climb up from town was nice each day. The only negative was that it was a drive to the town, so not easy to go out to eat

You could try Petit Maur. A little 2 bedroom place in the centre of Spa. Everything on foot, although parking is on the street.
