That’s relatively local to me and is the bargain of a lifetime. If I had the money it would be mine… Neil runs a business called Rallyprep.

Lot 126 at the Monaco Historique was Denzel DK28. Wearing a Porsche badge for her first race 1 month after registration I wonder if she was originally fitted with a 356 engine; anyone able to advise if Jim Perrin’s book confirms? Sold for €95k / €109k, well short of the €314k DK32 made in 2019

Jack McAfee 550A-0116 was a no-sale at €3.4m, last sold for $4.9m Monterey 2018

Meanwhile over in Costa Mesa 84382 passed at $200k. Prior to her SCCA career, the Speedster is said to have been traded into Bob Holbert’s Garage and driven by Bob’s son Al to high school and then Lehigh University (while studying Mechanical Engineering Al worked for Roger Penske). Bob took 84382 back after she developed an engine knock & Al had racked up too many speeding tickets

Having no-sold at $220k Quail ’23 & $182k BaT in ’24, ’65 911 301450 finally sold for $180k / $202k. Marketed as original, it was plausible the interior hadn't lactated in over 6 decades

Couple of interesting 911s at Villa d'Este

'66 S / Targa Versuch 500100 no-sold at €400k est. €700 - €1m. 500100 was Jochen Neerpasch's recce for the '67 Targa. Partnering Vic Elford's Prototype debut the pair would place 3rd in a 910 podium lock out

'73 Tour de France RSL 9113601083 sold for €472k / €537k, well-short of the €713k we saw 9113600573 make in Feb last year, held back by an apparent problem with lift...
