Halogen or LED?

Post by simon james »

I’ve decided to lavish a bit of attention on my 356.
It’s U.K. supplied, 6volts and has the original headlights with the adjusters at 12 and 9 o’clock respectively.
The lights are utterly useless at night, and an upgrade to something far brighter is in order.
Does anybody have experience of such things and which is the better option???
Thank You!!

.

I've converted several cars to LED lighting & it made a big difference - got all LED bulb replacements (including headlights) from Classic Car LED's :

I've not converted a 6v car but yes, Classic Car LEDs offer LED's for 6v systems ...

Excellent. Thank You both.
I’ll pop a bulb out and see what type they are before ordering some LEDs!!

Phil,
Yes and no!
I bought some but I’ve yet to fit them!
However, I’m hoping to have the car out this weekend, I’ll report my findings!
