Bought this for spares 30 years ago and finally got round to rebuilding it!
Currently has less than 500 miles on it and is still in car if you want come and drive it (based near York)
On my efi setup it pulls strong from 3000. I can speculate on power and compares well to my engine
No leaks from the engine
I'm not sure of the worth as I've done all the work myself but going on values of engines that need a full rebuild and how much time and money I've invested but I'll put a value as £9000 but correct me if I'm wrong
Spec is:
Case has had oil bypass, time-serts for head studs and those on saddle for IMS and inner bearing added for IMS
3.2 oil pump giving great oil pressure
Std/Std T crank (taken from my own engine which has a couple of thousand miles on them)
New IMS bearings
Used 2.2S pistons with cast barrels. New rings
2.7S cylinder heads with new guides and valves
Newer style rockers with bushes and RSR seals on shafts
New Mod Solex (DC30) camshafts
New cam timing gears, dowels and key
Chain tensioners rebuilt with new seals
Turbo lower valve covers
New oil to tank pipe
New oil tubes
New cam oil lines
Aluminium sump plate
New crank pulley
New temp sensor
Comes with my old flywheel, clutch and that dammed expensive bearing for the 911 box. Bolts are ARP
Probably forgotten something
This is a long block and doesn't include distributor in image nor tin work other than baffles between cylinders
Lots more images of the build
