Scammers emailing you with parts for sale.... be vigilant

I've been notified that there's been some scam activity (off of the forum)

If you receive unsolicited emails offering parts for sale on the forum at reduced prices BE VIGILANT

If it's too good to be true - it usually is not true!

Although your email addresses aren't visible on the forum a scammer may try and use your username and append it with a common email address (e.g. gmail or hotmail) in the hope they can offer you parts they've seen advertised for lower prices with dodgy payment methods - don't fall for it.

You may have published your email address at some point on the forum or elsewhere and the scammer has swept it from there.

Anyway - BE VIGILANT

The PM function on this board has measure in place to try and stop scammers but they're clever buggers - don't fall victim

I was suspicious of the mail from bigbubbabootsy@gmail.com offering me a good time for £50. If it was genuine he'd know I'm the one who gets paid.

You need to have made a few more posts before the ok function activates - it’s another measure to prevent scammers
