Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......

First picture here just popped up on a local group, posted by the person who took it in 1961 or 1962 - Vic Hemming. It was taken at Ragley Hall Hillclimb (approx half a mile from my house). The car in question was driven by an incredible female driver called Patsy Burt. That was all the info that was there!!
I did a little digging and found out it is chassis number 718-034 which was raced in Argentina in 1960 by Antonio Von Döry before coming to the U.K. and being driven by Patsy for two years. She was the first person ever to complete a full season in the European Hillclimb Championship in 61 which could well have included this event at Ragley Hall.

Quite the motorsport pioneer and one hell of a car! The colour photos are the same car in 1982. #Porsche #Porsche718RSK

A blast from the past. Ferryman used to often pop a DDK themed Christmas card in the post. A member came across a few including the wonderful Chocolate themed grille badge! We can’t dig out one for you now but you can still get a grill badge now they’re being reproduced! viewtopic.php?t=73825

Denmark Street in the 60’s, 178 HBH isn’t showing on the DVLA website but I can’t help wondering if it’s still around!

I recognise that location - looking down from the Charing Cross Rd end - one or more of those Bedford vans could have belonged to '60's bands (Small Faces, etc) as there were several recording studios along there ...
