Glad you are OK Keith, and the car is in good hands (Steve, not Del, obvs!)
Silver lining of finding annoying bondo is that, when it's sorted, you can tell yourself it's better than before its mishap.
Cheers, Richard.

Looking at the front view, with the front slam panel bent as it is, it looks like one of the Disney “Cars” characters talking!
“Ooooh, that hurts!” perhaps??

That looks good!
How about the suspension parts?
Just maybe you could have made Shelsley?

Re: The full sequence... Latest update
Thanks all. Yes, I'm pretty pleased with the way things are headed but Steve needs to crack on with another well-known car (Delwyn's RS...) once the metalwork on the 914 is done. After that, paint – matching the non-original hue won't be easy but I'm sure we can get it scanned and mixed. The rust alongside the turn signal was pretty bad and I was expecting to have to replace the front end of the wing, so I was pleased to see Steve had managed to make a repair panel from scratch. Clever boy as it's a pretty complex series of curves.
Incidentally, not only had the N/S suspension mount been 'raised' by 35mm but the whole front end had been moved 25mm to the right! At this rate, the car will end up being straighter than when it came from the factory...

TBH, much though I would have liked to rush to try to get to Classic Nostalgia, there's no way it could be metalworked, painted and reassembled in that timeframe. As Steve says, there's no point in reassembling it, taking it away and then having to disassemble it for final paint. There's always next year...

I don’t speak French well but still enjoyed the slightly unsympathetic commentary in the second link.
