Spit Nolan [ Gareth], Bootsy, Ian Comerford and I have another great weekend sorted for you following the same formula that worked so well at Edition 1 in August 2024.
We’ve brought it forward a month this year to take in a different event – DDKers competing!

Saturday 19th July
AM

Meet at Caffeine and Machine at the Hill near Stratford upon Avon for lunch, car ogling, pictures and craic [like in the movie above] from 1000
If you haven’t yet booked then go here https://caffeineandmachine.com/whats-on-the-hill/ - book “best of British” to avoid waitlist!
1230
We’ll have an [optional] hour spin down the lovely Fosse Way for a coffee stop at Classic Motor Hub.
This is a car paradise, based on a WW2 Spitfire base near scenic Bibury,
You will have a cornucopia of classics [including some Porsches] to drool over, a great little shop full of automobilia and great coffee. – DDK Parking – we are expected! .
See https://classicmotorhub.com/
1500 CMH Closes – so a slightly longer spin back our 2024 DKK meet hotel – maybe via Bibury village and Chipping Norton with the opportunity to stop at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat farm shop - in time for drinks and more craic on the terrace at 1830- before dinner at 1930
.
[Optional ] We overnight at our newly refurbished 2024 DDK hotel with dinner [also available for non - residents] and breakfast on Sunday.
DDK booking has closed but hotel may have rooms still available – PM me for details.

4 WEEKS TO GO

DDK Meet returns to the Cotswolds on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2025 for Edition 2 2025

Spit Nolan [ Gareth], Bootsy, Ian Comerford and I have another great weekend sorted for you following the same formula that worked so well at Edition 1 in August 2024.
Some reminders today about food on Saturday 19th PM at our DDK hotel.

I visited the hotel las Thursday – they are putting together a new menu which will be available shortly.
Resident diners [ those booked into hotel overnight] are on their system as paid as we are all on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate – all you need do is make your menu selection for Saturday when you check in – be it Friday or Saturday.
Non – resident diners – you are not on their system- to avoid confusion and to speed up service etc. – please phone hotel [PM me or Spit Nolan] if you need the phone number and book in for DDK dinner on Saturday 19th – leaving a credit card number to secure booking.
On arrival at hotel – make your menu selection before heading for the bar!
This ensures that everyone sitting down for dinner has paid- and chosen – speedy service will ensue!
