I couldn't remember what t shirt I ordered, but found it and sent the money. If I have missed anything let me know. Will you be sending out a chaser nearer the time for those that haven't completed or paid for things?

If anyone is unsure what they have ordered please let us know and we can check on the list and remind you.

Yes we will definitely be chasing any who haven’t paid before time comes

Been quiet on here as of late as we are in the limbo stage of waiting for C&M bookings to open, of course if anyone still wishes to join us for any of the bits they still can it’s just the hotel and Shelsley are now at full price. But please still book in for any section you like :)

Were you here in 2024?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYrPgKZBFVs

Make sure you are in 2025!!

DDK Meet returns to the Cotswolds on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2025 for Edition 2 2025

Spit Nolan [ Gareth], Bootsy, Ian Comerford and I (Clive) have another great weekend sorted for you following the same formula that worked so well at Edition 1 in August 2024.

We’ve brought it forward a month this year to take in a different event – DDKers competing!

Saturday 19th July

AM
Meet at Caffeine and Machine at the Hill near Stratford upon Avon for lunch, car ogling, pictures and craic [like in the movie above]
See https://caffeineandmachine.com/thehill/

PM [1300?]
We’ll have an [optional] hour spin down the lovely Fosse Way through picturesque Stow on the Wold for a coffee stop at Classic Motor Hub.
This is a car paradise, based on a WW2 Spitfire base near scenic Bibury,

You will have a cornucopia of classics [including some Porsches] to drool over, a great little shop full of automobilia and great coffee. – DDK Parking – we are expected! .

See https://classicmotorhub.com/

1500 CMH Closes – so a slightly longer spin back our 2024 DKK meet hotel – maybe via Bibury village and Chipping Norton with the opportunity to stop at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat farm shop - in time for drinks and more craic on the terrace at 1830- before dinner at 1930.

[Optional ] We overnight at our newly refurbished 2024 DDK hotel with dinner [also available for non - residents] and breakfast on Sunday.

Sunday 20th July

AM
Earlyish breakfast [0700] leave at 0830 for a 44 mile drive to Shelsley Walsh Speed Hill Climb for the “

Classic Nostalgia “ event- we need to arrive by 0930 to get parked correctly

Celebrating the Glory Days of Motorsport-Shelsley Walsh’s ’s Classic Nostalgia weekend is a highlight in the UK’s motorsport calendar with the very best racing cars, vintage specials, garden party atmosphere and track action with Rally cars and… just cool cars from all eras as anything goes! A relaxed meeting with lots going on away from the track too.

see https://www.classicnostalgia.co.uk/

We have allocated DDK parking and discounted admission at the event

We will also have DDKers competing on the hill!

Apparel

Following demand we also have a bigger range of event apparel for you to choose from in a choice of colours, T shirts, hoodies and a DDK cap!
Every garment purchased includes a donation to the DDK charity.

All sections are optional so you can participate in as much or as little as you like.

How do I book and take part?

Get yourself booked in now-, via our online registration form below- so we know who is coming and who is doing what!

If you select hotel and dinner – we’ll be back to you with full booking details- so you can book yourself in as required [ we don’t publish here for security reasons]

The online form also gives you full details of how to book in for Caffeine and Machine and the link to get discounted DDK admission at Classic Nostalgia.

Discounted admission for Classic Nostalgia closes on April 20th – two months before our weekend- - we’ll close DDK bookings at our hotel then as well.

After that date you MAY still get a booking but at prevailing rates at that time.

You can also select your event apparel online using the same form!

HERES THE ONLINE BOOKING FORM – REMEMBER BOOKINGS FOR HOTEL and DISCOUNTED SHELSLEY CLOSE ON APRIL 20th

https://form.jotform.com/250073544638054

WE HAVE 30 ROOMS ALLOCATED – WE MAY BE ABLE TO GET MORE BUT THE EARLIER WE KNOW THE BETTER!

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL IN JULY!
