We had a 72 911S Targa in the early 80’s with a full 2.7 RS spec engine. It was fabulous on the road!

I seem to remember that the last repaint (it's been repainted several times over the years - albeit in its original colour each time) was only average quality.
However, the car has had a lot of money spent on it over the years with many of the upgrades which owners aspired to.
This is the type of car that early 911 drivers lusted after until fairly recent times - &, if it could be purchased at the right price, I think it would provide a lot of fun ...

Must be a story about why a UK ordered 73S targa was lhd in the first year of rhd availability. It would be nice to know why that is.
