Just to reprise the Imp theme from earlier. A mate at college had a Sunbeam Stilleto with an upgraded engine to around 1000 Cc and a front radiator. It was a lovely thing which would rev over 7500 RPM.

A replica of the Jaguar service van. It is a 1950 Bedford 3 ton with a six cylinder engine. Reminded me of my dad who had a late 1940's ex WD Bedford truck which I used to drive to pick up scrap metal. ImageImage

That is a very interesting picture, quite an early version of K7. In the later versions the pitot tube was moved into the tail fin from the sponson and ii dose'nt have the spray deflectors yet. The Arthur Knowles book With Campbell at Coniston is a very good read.

The Alpine is so good, and for me the photographic quality is outstanding esp in monochrome.
B&W is difficult to get right.
