The 'Maverick' Classic Porsche Forum and Classic Porsche Club for Porsche 356, Aircooled Porsche 911, Porsche 912, Porsche 914 & Porsche Replicas. 'We join for the cars but stay for the people'
We had a visitor from Hong Kong who spelt an academic year stuck in a room in Warwick, during COVID, so we showed her around. She requested that I get an old car out. Didn't really need an excuse but fired up the 356. Ran like a dream and I found my DDK t-shirt (still in the plastic bag) from last year's meet up.
Bit of a tight squeeze for our guest in the back but fun had by all.

Looks as though you had a lot more space to fit those in the 914 than we had to fit this in our 911 KS

Decided to make my own rear jacking boss come tow loop and the simple tow loop for the front.
You can buy these but around £150 the pair, so invested £40 in materials instead, time is free.
You need these to compete in the 911 nowadays, didn't when i hillclimbed the car 2 decades ago.
If i get my entry to the event I will have to paint the loop yellow, but until then it will be satin black.
Nice tidy job Graham. Wrap with yellow tape if you don't want it to be permanently yellow.

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Very little space - as you know, the trouble has always been finding a seat that fits widthwise in a 914. These seats are very narrow - I'm a tight fit in them, so anyone who weighs more than 10 stone or has a fat ass won't be able to double-drive it at an event!
