The caption from where I grabbed it stated 'Porsche 911R Number 20 with Vasek Polak Junior'

'R20' - the last 'production' 911R built certainly was originally blue (although it doesn't look the correct hue).

It was ordered by Lance Reventlow (owner of the Scarab race team) but, if I remember correctly, the order was cancelled before he took delivery & went to Vasek Polak instead ...

Much later, after spending many years in the Matsuda Collection in Japan (it was Silver at that stage), it was bought by Raj Sivalingam in the US (previous Early S Registry member) who returned it to its original metallic blue.

You probably know this but Tony Callas is restoring 019 in the USA at the moment and has 001 too…
