This is for my ‘twin plug’ conversation on my SC. The system runs twin coil packs mounted on the rear bulkhead I know this is wrong – currently the installation runs each bank from each coil pack.
I need to make-up correct length leads (with correct plug top connectors) so I can run all the top plugs form 1 coil pack & all the lower from the other coil pack.
As I cannot find the correct plug tops (cost effectively), I bought the 964 plug lead kit (D911) so I can use the correct plug top to make-up correct length leads using new cable where required.
However - & this is where I need your help! – there are 3 different designs of plug tops – (see attached image:
10 have a ‘notch’ at the top, 4 of the ‘notch’ tops have a much fatter barrel & 2 have plain tops that have a different ‘angle’ (under 90 degrees) to all the others.
Questions:
1. Which lead goes where on the std 964
2. Do the 4 ‘Fat’ plugs go on 3 & 6 (Perhaps the hottest cylinders?)
3. What are the notches for
