US title was categorized as "salvage" because of the damaged front wing? What's that supposed to mean? Unregistrable in the UK?

I'd be very surprised if that is 16k miles - even the service book appears to show 20.5k. That amount of surface rust, the state of the underside of the engine and trans, etc... If the original 'pink slip' isn't included, and the only paperwork is a salvage title, I can see problems. I hope I'm wrong for any new owner.
