Thanks guys and hopefully the car will make the trip to France this summer Jon :)

Love how the silhouette has turned out, these cars are nowhere near as pretty as an early narrow bodied 911 but they do have a presence 8)

Looks amazing!

Do you think Ryan would be able to put some invisible baffles in my megaphones?

Definitely- I used to run a silenced short stinger in a beetle on the road. Was a little loud though…

Thanks! I think without any silencing I’ll be at 120 dB so no track days which won’t be so good but at least on the road…

...beautiful looking engine Matt although from experience I know you won't be able to live with those megaphones on the street! ....

Image

...I did initially ask Ryan if he could do something similar as per these Bursch megaphones I'd seen previously but although he has done similar you will be pretty much whistling in the wind when it comes to noise without a muffler....

Image

....look forward to seeing what you decide :drunken:

After quite a bit of fettling the front and rear axles are now complete. Getting everything to fit at the rear has been a real bitch and no doubt Gary prefers a standard build where everything just bolts together. Fortunately I'm in the safest of hands and Gary doesn't compromise on anything and all is now exactly as it should be :)

Excuse the pics as I've taken them from a video and will update with better images later but all brake lines now beautifully fabricated and fitted...

Image

Image

...including this tastefully fabricated support bracket for the front coil overs 8) ....

Image

....the master cylinders on the RS/RSR were 22mm rear and 17mm front with a bias adjustment bar, naturally we've spec'd the same....

Image

Image

....spacers for front and rear wheels were 7mm (same spacers as used on the rear of the 2.7RS which Tim has helped me with) and 21mm respectively; rears kindly donated to the cause by my good friend Feroz, thanks buddy :) ...

....not being quite sure where we need to be at the rear with closed end wheel nuts we've opted for long studs for now and with modify accordingly...

Image

...will post a few better images of the fitted pedal box and all else after I've visited Gary in the week....next the interior!

Forwards! :)
