I think this was around 2002 ( Maybe earlier ? ) - I used to drive up to Knaresborough for a coffee at Autoclassica -One Saturday morning I got a bit carried away and bought the white 356 Speedster @ £39,995. - the 2.7 RS white with green lettering @ £39,995 and the blue 996 @ £34,995

A lot of money at the time !

Some interesting prices - 993 RS £36,995 / 964 RS £27,995 / 959 £165,995 , I think that was the ex Nick Faldo car which was rolled on a test drive, shown on these pages recently / Ferrari Dino £9,995 etc etc

A trip back in time and it'd even be worth dealing with Andrew Mearns to buy at those prices !

Was this car featured in Classic Cars comparing it to a standard RS back in the mid 90's?

It was a 2.4S - I remember him having it in the late 90s

I'm sure that I remember reading about it in one of the classic mags and then seeing it at a PCGB event in the 90's.
