I used this aluminium lightweight Jack (ex 944 I think) on my rally car – modified with a saddle which cradles the front or rear torsion bar covers for a safe lift. I used a wooden block underneath for a bit of extra height and stability on rough surfaces. Smooth lift with no thread damage
