This looks like it could be a lot of fun for ~£28k (at Williams Crawford):

It does look lovely in the photos! I think Horizon blue was just an available colour and not PTS as described though.

.
For those of us that like a modern Porsche, Chattanooga Track 180, the '84 Tour de Corse SC RS

https://www.broadarrowauctions.com/vehi ... e-911-scrs

Image

on paper it ticked a lot of boxes; the '80s are in, rennsport tag, low volume, Group B, competition history & low (3k) miles

Image

but 110021 harboured a dark secret carefully omitted from both the Chattanooga and May BaT listings

Image

this Goliath will forever carry the shame of having been vanquished on the Corsican Stages by a brace of... Talbot Sambas

ImageImage

passed at $1.925m against est $2.6 - 3.5m having bid to $756k on BaT in May https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1984- ... 911-sc-rs/
maverick
noun
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person.
2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

I've looked at that a few times and it is pretty damned amazing - it's very well detailed and as clean as a whistle. The owner/builder must have spent a small fortune building it, and for the asking price I reckon it's something of a bargain.

Shame no photos of the engine bay and under front hood

Nice spec with no sunroof , quite rare. Double sports seats 8)
You can removed the rear wiper by fitting non wiper rear glass for the proper lightweight look ;)

IMHO, needs rear lettering adding back on as it looks too smooth with them removed . Originally specced yellow fog lights but removed and fitted with RS ducts

You do need to see these cars in the flesh though as 964’s were unloved by some for a while and suffered

I was tempted a couple of years ago when it sold for a lot less.
