Rubber car mats

Post by opv »

Hi All
I have a 356 coupe replica does anyone know where I can purchase a pair of rubber mats. I don't want the full length ones just a pair of footwear mats.
Thanks Charlie

A good question there. I could be wrong but single separate rubber mats for front drivers side and passenger side were never supplied. The back ones were separate and can be bought. My RHD car had original rubber mats complete from 1959 produced in the UK and were a copy of LHD factory ones. About 15 years ago as they were well worn I bought from 'International Mercantile ' in the States a full rubber carpet set but I had to cut the clutch and brake foot lever openings for my RHD car.

This company supplies every rubber part you would need (or did ) for all 356 cars and they have a good catalogue with a 356 parts brochure.
Their e-mail : InternationalMercantile@hotmail.com.

I did though purchase maybe from Halfords, some great black front rubber single mats that really matched the new carpet set. If you needed the rectangle size advise me. I presume they were standard sizes and would fit also your repro. Some people have used CoCo non rubber mats.
