993 (3 pin) idle valve

Also posted on IB site; After many torturous (and expensive) engine adventures, my 3.4 twin spark car is 100% great to drive, after blipping the throttle it settles directly to a smooth idle but very light throttle, eg.reversing off the driveway, into MOT bay etc can make it stall. Wayne Schofield, thinks a bigger idle valve will help, so I'm looking to buy or borrow a 993 3 pin idle control valve.... Anybody have a spare?

Another trick I’ve seen is to drill a small hole in the throttle butterfly, this will increase the idle obviously, so the idle control valve closes more to compensate, this then gives the idle valve more range to open further when required.

My throttle body has been overbored and has got a non-Porsche butterfly. It was a bugger to set up correctly, so I'm loath to drill holes in it! Bridging the test socket resets the idle valve to mid position and on my car that makes the revs rise. While not manual correct, it's been set this way so that at idle the valve is on the closed side of midway, leaving more room to open up fully to help stabilise the revs. This it still doesn't't always do, hence wanting to try a bigger 993 version.
