Now I’ve had a day to settle , just want to say again what a great weekend . From arriving at Caffine and machine I spent the whole weekend talking to new and old friends . I think i managed to speak to almost everyone. I wish I’d had more time to actually take in the cars more and to spend more time with people .

Sunday, I will admit my expectations were way below what was presented. It was wonderful show and I’ll stick my neck out say this edition was the best Porsche only show in the uk.

To top it all off the weather was amazing and even the drive home ( avoid motorways selected until I got to the A1) was a pleasure. Our early cars are so good at these kind of trips

Thanks again to Spit, Clive and Ian

. A few pics from me even if they are similar to others Image

Of course DDK is all about the people...

Gary with his LONG suffering wife, and Tim.

Dave and I arrived back in Cork yesterday evening after a couple of extra days in Hampshire visiting my brother and his rusting collection of Jags and Ferraris and Ian Mcmath [914/6]and his Aladdins cave of stuff!
What a fab time we had Saturday and Sunday - great people [as per my speech on Saturday], great cars, great venues [C&M and especially Boxengasse - incredible!]- well worth the long trip from the West Coast of ireland.........
Thanks to Gareth for organisation and Ian for T shirts- and actually I thought the hotel [in spite of my initial misgivings ] worked out OK!
Thanks to Bootsy for dreaming it all up in the first place.
Thanks to every one of you for coming - as some of you know - it meant a lot to me - in RGruppe we refer to fellow members as brothers- DDK is the same!
Lets do it again next year!

First time out for Flachbau - kudos to Paul and Sam at Greatworth for getting her going in time for Saturday in spite of numerous gremlins ( don't buy a project from Mike Brewer)
