Pair of seats Wanted

Post by rich73 »

Hi There,
Looking for a set of seats for my 1970 car.

viewtopic.php?p=680819#p680819

Stared to do some research and may just go for new seats but thought it was worth seeing if anyone had anything available first.
They ultimately need to be reclining and period looking but may consider something just for now if we end up going for something with a longer lead time.
These Rennsport Milano are a favorite of my partner

Also considering any Recaro Sport style Such as Cobra Stuttgart, BF Torino Le Mans, Deser Sedile Sport S.

We're near Woking but happy to travel if the rights seats are available.

Thanks
Richard

Have you found anything yet Rich?

I have a pair of D’Eser sport seats in my S in leatherette / pepita which will be available once I’ve collected my restored Oct ‘72 Recaros from Germany next month…

PM me if interested.

I have a set of Scheel 400 Rally seats for sale. They are currently in my 1970T and include the tilt mechanisms and sliders to bolt straight in. I have just bought a set of D'Eser seats to replace them. The Scheel seats are slightly lighter than the D'Eser seats coming in at 19kg including sliders and tilt mechanism, vs 20kg for the equivalent D'Eser seats. The Scheel seats were used in period, mainly in BMWs I believe, but not fitted as a factory option by Porsche.
They are super comfy. Not sure about the price as I need to buy tilt mechanisms for my new seats and was going to put them on a BMW website first once I've fitted my new seats to see if there's interest there.

However, PM me if you're interested.
