Paintless Dent Removal.....
The good thing about attending events is they stimulate you to sort those little bits out you've been putting off. I often write a list of stuff to sort when I return from something and did exactly that last night.
So fresh back from the DDK Big Event 2024 I spent lunchtime today dealing with a little dent I had in the middle of my bonnet (I'd dropped something from the eaves a couple of months ago and caused it)
Plus I kept noticing it at the weekend and it was annoying me
I'd bought the gear a while back but had an unsuccessful attempt at getting rid of a couple of small dents on the Boxster.
I realised this was down to having the wrong 'glue' and although I'd got hold of the right glue sticks I hadn't revisited using the kit.
So fired up the hot glue gun today, selected the right sized puller and voila.....

Puller in place with glue setting

Started slowly tightening and then pop!

And cleaned up and finished - small dent gone, hurray!

Re: Paintless Dent Removal.....
I used a bit of vinegar based cleaner and then prised it and carefully peeled it off - no paint damage
As mentioned further up there are certain glue sticks that are recommended specifically for this

Great work Thomas, always wondered if those things work. Good to see you at the weekend.
Bet you’re glad stayed for the Megaphonics event, some amazing vehicles that you’ll probably never see again.

Re: Paintless Dent Removal.....
I’d have to have a look back to when I bought them
I recall reading an article which recommended which ones to get - based around colour from memory
I’ll see if I can find the info

Re: Paintless Dent Removal.....
Can’t find the details but recall the yellow / gold ones were recommended and if you search for paintless dent removal glue sticks my memory seems to be correct
