Thank you. I don't think they have a spacer. Do you know what the 12 on the outside of the caliper means?

Fitted the new, exact replacement, oil pressure sender and still not working. Then tried grounding the oil extension pipe and it work. I'm not sure why it stopped grounding. The connection into the case was very clean. Looked like a pain to remove so I decided to put a grounding point in between the sender and extension. All working again. Including the pressure reader

Started up the car. No petrol leaks. No stuck floats. Don't ask me why I knew to check for that.

Took for a drive and it ran very nicely. Maybe the problem with as dirt. Still prefers to be above 3rpm but I suspect that is the cam.

No brake squeal but didn't really test them. I will bleed the brakes again as I think I can get this car to stop even better.

Next fitted a permanent stop. The car lives on a hill.

More things to do but happy to go on the next adventure.
