New brake pads. New brake piston moving tool worked great too. £6 off eBay. Now for a drive to bed the pads in.ImageImage

New boots.....thanks to the lovely folk at Longstone Tyres. Actually fitted last week, but the Mrs has commandeered the car and is 500 miles in, and I've not even tried it yet since they went on. Replaced the worn out Avon CR6ZZ that were on it with Pirelli Cinturato CN36. Initial reports are that it is smoother, quieter and altogether less 'harsh', with better grip, giving her the confidence to get her foot down in the corners...my test run later if I'm good....Image

Actually used the 911 today, a small car show/country Wake at Feckenham in Worcestershire.

Really good turn-out of some very very nice cars, many I've never seen before.
Good day for £5 to get in, coffee only £1.50 (!) and piles of cakes made by the Ladies of the Church.

Could hear every conversation in the groups with my new hearing aids, but can also hear a few noises in the 911 I've never heard before...
Engine rebuild planned/approved for this Xmas.

However, a few of my choices:

That Karmann Cab is gorgeous. I really want a flat screen, right hand drive one with a hot motor.

The engine was great too, lovely car.
They have such a good looking roof line/window depth.
One of times the engineers penned it just right.

A Mini Moke was voted best car!
