Anyone bought a clutch for a 901 box?

My 69 T is due for a clutch... got one priced at a 'leading independent' and the price was £550, I might be naive but but I thought that sounded a lot. Pelican parts quote the same 3 piece kit for $327. Is there anwhere else I can try?

I would expect to pay less than £300. Try Berlyn or Roger Bray

I just ordered one from L UK - should have it by the 30th as its not a stock item - will let you know final cost if you wish, was assured it to be about the 250 mark with vat

My guy also spoke to LUK, they quoted 2 weeks delivery and it was under 300 quid, but I want the car back sooner now the weather's here! Berlyn could get a Sachs one, again under £300... we'll see! Let me know how you get on.

Got the LUK clutch kit today - opened up to check it and guess what ??

It's got Sachs stamped all over it !!!
Genuine Sachs clutch - anyone know if LUK is owned by Sachs or is it the other way round ??
By the way - it was 210 plus vat trade
