Re: The Great Big DDK Meet of 2024!!!
Clive has done a great job of getting hotel and dinner sorted for us, details will be PM’d out to the ones on the list who require it asap.
We have twin rooms and double rooms secured so if anyone would like to share to keep costs down or just like having someone to cuddle up to (please get consent for this first
), then please let us know….
Edit: just so I can update the list, hotel booking details will be out once Clive has finished sorting it

Re: The Great Big DDK Meet of 2024!!!
Please stand by on this guys, we will NOT be booking or arranging twin or double rooms for you, you will be arranging to share between yourselves [if required] and then booking room yourselves when we can release the details.
So I suggest if you want to share you reach out to each other and sort out details SAP and then prepare to book accordingly.
Presently I am sorting out details with the hotel [they want a signed contract and we are quibbling over free cancellation period!!!] - hope to have that sorted Monday but here's some info to get you prepared.
Clearly we won't post full details on an open forum on location for security reasons- we'll PM those that have registered -as Spit has already mentioned.
You'll have 28 days to book- first come first served.
August 10th [after Caffeine & Machine]
The hotel is less than 30 mins from Caffeine & Machine and just over an hour's good drive from Boxengasse.
We have 10 doubles/11 twins allocated - all can be booked single or double occupancy.
Dinner, bed and breakfast [single occupancy] £ 160 per night
Dinner, bed and breakfast [double occupancy]£ 195 per night
Dinner will be served at 2000 and we will need to preselect from a menu in advance.
Dinner for non- resident as above- needs to be booked/selected in advance £35 each.
The hotel has indicated that they can provide us with a separate display parking area.
I am assuming that some will want to join us there for drive out to Boxengasse on Sunday 11th , and need breakast- I'll get a price on that for non residents too.

Re: The Great Big DDK Meet of 2024!!!
We're nearly there guys- our negotiated rates show a massive discount on their "best possible rate" which is what you would be quoted if you phone individually - = Double over £350 dinner bed and breakfast!
I'm just sorting final agreement - once done- Spit or I will PM those who have asked for rooms with full details of hotel, contact details, booking code etc.
You'll then have 28 days to book at these rates, you will leave credit card details to secure, although no payment will be taken until arrival.
After that the rooms will revert to hotel and room rates to normal.
You will still be able to book after that subject to rooms being available and at the prevailing [non discounted] rate.
if you are thinking of sharing a twin with another DDker - do arrange this SAP so you can book accordingly.
You will also be able to book the Friday or Sunday nights in addition should you need- at similar rates.
WATCH YOUR PM INBOX FOR FURTHER DETAILS SHORTLY.
p.s. Have you bought your megaphonics ticket?
