Well... Sent my Powerlite starter off on Tuesday, got a call this morning to confirm all fixed and being posted back today, no charge.
That is the sort of service I like expecially as it was out of warrenty.

Looks great.
Speaking of 964s, took a trip to Cheshire this morning to pick up some front wings for mine. So that’s front wings, rear quarters and front bumper so far. Plan is to source everything then take it off the road and paint - probably next winter

Met up with a couple of ddkers at Curborough. The weather was lovely today.
Leter on I introduced a bit more shiny new steel to my 911T.

1988 3.2 Carrera backdate, Black
2001 996 Turbo, Lapis blue (am I allowed to put that here?)
I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
Thanks James.
I went from 3.2 calipers all round to new 3.2 rears, Boxster fronts (non-S) and a turbo master cylinder. I’ve read that based on piston sizes, the ultimate clamping force is similar between the calipers. But they are lighter and the turbo master cylinder gives a really firm pedal (which I like). I am pleased with them, its stops very well, especially with a bit of heat into the pads (DS2500) - I’d recommend it, but I’m not sure if they’d fit under a 15” though?

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
I’ve had that setup on mine for about 15 years (minus the turbo master cylinder) - works really well and as Mick says it fits under 15s
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

Not today but yesterday it stoped raining for long enough (well almost long enough) to get the ‘Rep’ out for a little run…
Let’s hope it’s not the last one of the year!
All the best
