This was at Salon Privé a couple of weeks ago and I was over there like a rat up a drainpipe. Why.... SW1947 features as the lead car on the 1970 Marathon De la Route / 86 hours of the the Nurburgring Porsche poster (For any doubters as to the 914's badassery 914s took all three gongs).
According to the salesman the for sale price of £490k in front of the car is for the original that is in storage. The car on display was the rep which looked pretty bloody great. 3l, steel flares and based on a real 914-6 which for an absolute snip could be yours for £220k... I mean why let your real one get worn out by people looking at it
