Greatworth can do this conversion for you. Maybe they have the parts too

Neil I’m looking for the parts and contacted Angus as I can also do this conversation.
I have 911 parts to also convert but need to sway away axles so that could be another route
Thanks for reply

Oops. I threw away a pair of four-stud ones a while ago as I didn't think anyone would want them! If you want to re-drill four-stud to five, look out for the early type that have the bosses cast in for for both four and five studs. They are stronger than the plain four-stud type.
Alternatively, Desgn 911 will sell you a pair of brand new five-stud hubs to convert your 914:

You can buy brand new 5 stud hubs (made by OE Match Classic whoever that is) from Design911. But...
There is a problem with them. When you pull the studs in, the thinner area between the stud hole and the edge of the hub deforms outward which means the brake disc doesn't seat (as it locates on the hub outer). Of course, these 5 'bulges' can be turned down on a lathe but only if you haven't fitted the hub to the car! Ask me how I know! I had to scrap a set of Porsche bearings to get the hubs off for machining, not to mention the extra faff. I did get a refund for the bearings and the machine work but I would prefer if manufacturers actually tested their parts!

Re: Wtd 1970 914 rear 4stud or converted 5 stud hubs
Hmmm, sounds like it's better to locate a pair of the early 914/4-cum-914/6 drive flanges, which have plenty of meat on them.
Re: Wtd 1970 914 rear 4stud or converted 5 stud hubs
Jonny great advice and I’m always sceptical especially around these crucial parts.
It’s just a pity that Uk doesn’t have same supply resource than USA, some suppliers there need to be watched also, but suppose supply and demand.
I have options and sure something will turn up soon

Re: Wtd 1970 914 rear 4stud or converted 5 stud hubs
The 914/6 rear hub is the same part as the early 70's 911 hub. Does the 914/4 hub and drive shaft have a different number of splines to the 914/6??
I know a few of these parts were different between the 4 and 6 almost just to be awkward ...........

Re: Wtd 1970 914 rear 4stud or converted 5 stud hubs
Since I resolved the 'bulging' I run 330NM Torque through the hubs with no issues. If it's of interest I have 914->911 adapters behind the hubs made by Renegade Hybrids in the US. This allows you to run the 100mm CV joints from the 911.Boydyrs wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 7:38 am Jonny great advice and I’m always sceptical especially around these crucial parts.
