Adjusted 14 threaded connectors, 2 carbs springs and added an additional slave spring, to get a nice smooth accelerator pedal action.....Feels great, but a complete PITA

If it was easy it wouldn’t feel so good to get it right
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

Had the doorcard off again to replace the latch springs. Unfortunately the springs I ordered don't fit . The search continues

More fiddling with the headlight aim for the LEDs.
It's kind of ok but I know it can better as ok is not what success looks like.
I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that all reflectors may not be the same. Does anyone know if the reflectors for LHD and RHD cars the same or are they specific?
And if they are specific would it be a case of swapping them over and sucking up temporarily the positioning of the adjustment screws (only asking on that as would like to not bugger up my adjustments to this point if I really don't need to).

The reflectors are different. Well, specifically the wee Sputnik thing is in a different position. It's what made me fail import inspection when I brought the 964 here as I'd only changed the glass.
I've still got my RHD reflectors. I can pass them on to you at CLM or get a visitor to take them back over?

Sent you some pics on WhatsApp as it's probably the easiest!

On my 964, I still run the lhd lights with tape on the deflector marks . Passes mot every time with good pattern. …… also run led. Bulbs too but technically with them fitted the beam cutoff isn’t as pronounced as it should be

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
Thought it was about time I turned to the dark side and bought a water pumper. I still wanted that analogue feel, so after much research I decided to look for an early 2.5 manual Boxster. After 6 months I found one that wasn't for sale and had been pampered by its owner who was looking downsize his collection. A deal was struck and I picked it up yesterday. The car has had everything and anything done that was needed, its a 1997 car, but it could pass for new. There isn't a single mark on it anywhere. Just need to sell my bay window camper now to free up space.

Very simple looking with newer clear lenses. The interior is green. Not my first choice but I actually quite like the fact it’s not black and a bit different.
