So right Mark - you never know when you may need it and it can be awkward if you have to fumble and look for such a thing

1970 911T, Signal orange (Restoration thread)
1988 3.2 Carrera backdate, Black
2001 996 Turbo, Lapis blue (am I allowed to put that here?)
I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

That was a well-known car back then - I seem to remember Autofarm converted it to RHD - & it subsequently passed through the hands of several well-known owners.
Haven't seen or heard of it for many years though - if anyone knows what happened to it, Jonathan will ...

Here it is in the early eighties at Castle Combe, driven I think then by the late Trevor Messett.

I also saw it first in Amersham in the late 1970's, and Steve Carr showed me round it. It was the first car I had seen close up with flip/flop pearlescent paintwork, and yes it is RHD. It's still around, tucked up safely in the back of a reasonably warm dry garage in deepest Devon, hoping to be restored some day.

Spotted in London… made a change and quite refreshing to see a 993 being brought across rather than the usual lambos , rolls gwagans etc
