Great to see everyone, and to meet some new faces: loved Hashman's 356, plus Shambly's Speedster

Particular thanks to Darren, who used engineering cunning, incisive deduction and 914 knowledge to deduce that my 'distorted seat frame' (leading to me to drive twisted round looking through the side window) was actually caused by the two seats being put in the wrong way round (no not facing backwards

).

A quick swap as everyone was leaving, and I now point the right way again: Ta Darren

a friend of mine had one of those, I bought a Hornet before Xmas as I used to race one (badly) as a nipper and they re-released it for a limited period.

I had ones of those too they are well cool. I haven't got around to putting it all back togeather yet typical car in bits that's not like me...

I dug about the loft and found an Acoms Tec Radio grear my loft is great I hear it creek at night ...

and mu Radio controlled Sail boat BIG boat!!!

PLUS I found the remains of my Tamiya Porsche !! yep I had ones of those.. I still got a few bits of it and I see these go for silly money I am temped to try and buy one back again...

Yeah the Porsche 959's are the one's to have, shame you sold it. My father in laws loft is like an aladdin's cave of radio control stuff he has a sandscorcher and the very early flat bed pickup model, I cant remember its name?? He's got a few boats, sailing and power which he used to use over Wanstead Flats. It was quite a big craze when I was a kid.

Acoms that rings a bell, I think the others were futaba and techniplus or something like that.

I always fancied a plane or helicopter but never had the budget for the 4ch radio gear.

Yep rember that dreaming of the 4ch gear ... That truck could be the F150 ford pick up I fancy one of those on the look out for a F150..

I remebered that even at night freezing my nuts off in the cold cos I had got some battery power as I had waited 4hrs for the thing to recharge...out inthe cold at night wizzing round... I even had a 9V battery and some christmass light bulbs wired up and strapped to the roof....so I could see it at night

, you reminded me of the times i'd be standing by my dads fiesta sapping the juice out of it for 45 minutes into my 7.2v humpback battery. While my mates are still wizzing up and down on their spare battery pack.....the flash gits.

At least you didnt graduate from christmas light bulbs to fluorescents under your 912

cool vid for sure.. I love the way they come round the corner and the one in the back ground seams to go straight off the track ( that wouldbe driving it )
