Prior to my acquistion my 77 911S has had two attempted repairs to the door side related to the door check strap
Unfortunately the previous repairs have been disastrous.
I think the door would probably need to be removed to do a proper repair to allow some metal to be stitched inside the door to strengthen where the check strap is mounted
Looking for some recommendations or ideas for anyone who could carry out this repair
I'm in Surrey but will travel for the right people
