Does the 1970 911T owners manual have the VIN?
I have this picture of the VIN inside the 1971 owner's manual. Does the 1970 manual have the same, and in the same place?

1988 3.2 Carrera backdate, Black
2001 996 Turbo, Lapis blue (am I allowed to put that here?)
I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

I'm asking if the 1970 owner's manual is personalised to the car, with the VIN inside it.desert rat wrote:That is usually on the B post.

Rob,
Can't answer your question although I have a 1970MY US delivered car and my hand book, which looks original, does not have any VIN in the booklet.
The image you posted looks like a copy of the Federal Compliance sticker which is on US delivered cars only and is on the junction between the door sill and B post on the driver's side.

Thanks Billy. I assume your manual has the 2.2 logo on the front and the lettering USA. Does it have the Tyre on page 10? But no VIN above?BILLY BEAN wrote:Rob,

This is just a photo from a car used to produce the owners manual. The owners manuals are not individualized to include a photo of you 911's VIN sticker...
Also worth mentioning, these stickers only came on US/North America delivered cars. European cars did not receive these VIN stickers in the drivers rear door jam.
