Carpet work in progress…

Never quite sure where the time goes!
Going to stick the other sill on and call it a day for now. All the other bits need edge binding so some careful pattern work needed, especially on the rear seat.

I can pop round with a packet of woodbines, a sawsall and a tube of polyfilla and do my sladey-san magic on your arches if you want
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

Sounds like a plan. What could possibly go wrong? ;)

Decided to repaint the seat brackets as I forgot just how visible they are and my rushed brush painting wasn’t going to cut it.

I’ve also ordered a box of fixings the right length so I don’t damage the fuel lines this time!

I have the answer to your engine mount woes Gary, but it might get a tad wearing on a long journey

Might be a touch harsh :)

My eBay gearshift rod is stuck in customs so I’m off to the lakes tomorrow to get another one from Mike B…

CLM is looming large!

Calling that done for the day.

Stripped the box, pinion shaft fully dismantled and dried. New seals all round, back together and on the engine.

Not too bad for a day with a 5am start…Image
