Question for all you sparkies out there...
On a car wiring diagram for each cable there is a little number inset into it. They're usually numbers like 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 etc. My guess is that this number refers to the cross ectional area of the cable and hence it amperage.
Am i right?
If so I can only seem to track down cables in 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 6.0 sizes yet it appears I need cables of 1.5 and 2.5 etc.....any thoughts??
Cheers!

As Gary says, and if you haven't found it yet, vehicle wiring products web site can be very useful
