Guess you guys are aware of this from Esso
I have been using Esso petrol for years now and have been pleased with the product. I am aware their most expensive product on their forecourts Esso Synergy Supreme 99 has a cleaning agent twice that of their normal unleaded. But are you all aware Esso state their Supreme 99 has zero Ethanol apart from for logistics reasons Scotland, N.Wales, North England and Cornwall ! They have the right to mention on zero Ethanol sites 5% Ethanol but that is only there if they need to introduce a small amount up to 5% in the future.
Their website clearly state this so.. for us with carbs and rubber pipes as well as the problem of evaporation it seems to me worth paying the extra to have zero Ethanol if you live say in Sussex or other zero Ethanol counties.
I only buy it for the 356 and am aware I have never needed 99 octane.
Useful to know for all the pre-60's cars around I reckon too.

Apply for it through PCGB and/or Caravan and Motorhome Club, and doubtless several others.356Monkey wrote:I asked the cashier at my local esso about the PCGB discount for members, He just laughed!
