All this talk of "flap fettling" I thought I was on my other favourite forum for a minute...

milehighclub.com. And before you day anything, it's just about aeroplanes. I know how your minds work. I'm a member of the solo aviators division.

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

I tried to with a bit of seam welding and adjustment.

Think it’s on my thread somewhere but would take a while to find it

Gave a presentation to Region 13 of the Porsche Club tonight about the first 15 years with my 911 of the 34 I've owned it.

Went well, been 7 years since I did a full-room presentation, and nobody fell asleep.

The window wasn't dropping as it should in the 996 so I replaced the driver's door lock with new. Rare for a job on the car to go without a hitch but it appears to have done so.

We prepped the course for the season ahead at Curborough last weekend and I took the 3.2 up there today. Got a nice surprise discovering all the Austin 7s.

mustard
maverick
noun
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person.
2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

Got it out, gave it a once over.......gentle 'shake down' to town to fill with fresh e5......where I shared a pump with a chap with a lovely silver L reg 911T, who was either not the owner, antisocial, or didn't know what a 356 is, or all of the above......gave it some beans on the way home, getting thumbs up and some hands-off-the-bars clapping from the motorcyclist that was chasing me, I just couldn't shake him off despite an indicated 95mph along my valley road, what an ace car.......W
