...I wished Andy and often encourage her to do so but it's just not her thing.Lightweight_911 wrote:....Does she ever get to drive any of them Darren ?
Mel loves my friends, she's a lot of fun and enjoys the social side of things, just not anything that involves driving. A run out in the 993 across the Yorkshire Moors many years ago with the Northern crowd has scarred her for life!
I'm lucky and get her blessing for most things. Together since our teens and married for over 35 years I dare say she's a keeper.......I just hope she feels the same!
cheers,
Darren

Fair enough Darren - good to hear that she's been given the opportunity - & understand that it may not be her 'thing' ...

Your Porsche pic of the day......
This popped up uninvited on my iPhone as a Pic of the day, so I thought why not share here, even if it is a bit me me me.
This was at about 6am, outside a boulangerie near Arnage, 4 years ago.
Roll on Le Mans Classic 2022, I say!
(Edit: would have been better if the 914 was towing the 911!)

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
I lent Stephen and Richard the green one, as Richard’s own car had last minute issue of some sort.
And yes the bonus was that meant we could swap between them all weekend !
