I'm sure...
.... this has well and truly been done to death but digging around on line trying to find that allusive picture of a Tangerine 911 parked next to a Gulf Orange one....
No - I'm nowhere near paint yet - (but hey it's Friday, the sun is shining, one and half pieces are about ready for primer and I've now a garage full of parts), and as it's a toss up between the the two was wondering if anyone had seen a pic somewhere of these two colours next to each other...

Re: I'm sure...
I hadn't but it's super helpful thanks Andy
A while ago there was a pic maybe on rennlist, the pca or who knows that had tangerine and gulf orange right next to each other and I've been trying to find that as both cars at the same time in the same light was what I was looking for.
Tangerine - lovely and a very popular colour over several years of early 911. Gulf Orange - almost as lovely, not as popular and from what I can tell only applicable to 72/73 for early 911s which is kind of handy as mine is an early 73 so would work pretty well.

Don’t know if this helps. But this is a pic of my Tangerine T (foreground) parked next to a different (Gulf?) orange 911 at the PCGB parking area at Silverstone.g3ngs2 wrote:I hadn't but it's super helpful thanks Andy

These are the original shots. Although they’re only from my iPhone they’re not additionally filtered.

Re: I'm sure...
Very nice - I think it may have be the Gulf Orange then - or Tangerine, possibly Gulf Orange - but definitely one or the other

Hey Engin:
Andy already shared the link to that 3 year old thread where I posted loads of orange cars together.
I have the uncompressed pics still on an HDD and can share direct if you like:
And, although it’s a tangerine car next to a polo red one, I thought you would still enjoy this pic too, from 2010
(Clue: your wallet was under your bloody seat!)

Re: I'm sure...
Hi James,
Hope you're well, time flies, I'll DM you as all of those pics from back then seemed to have disappeared from my cloud storage (including the wonky video of the parade laps with Lyndsey) and the sd cards haven't chosen to let me know where I put them.
That pic reminds me to definitely not have the inside of your car pressure washed! It does also tip the scales towards Tangerine.
(The timeline goal of all body done and in primer for the end of April is still hanging on by its fingernails - not through anyone dragging their heels but more because each day's trip to the workshop reveals another hidden gem and another order of parts - restoration site on the way)...
