Hi all
Hi all,
Just bought my 68’ 912 and living in France. Looking forward to using the forum and expertise on here to make my Porsche experience more enjoyable.
Been into ac VW and still own a 71 Ghia and 71 Early Bay but always wanted a Porsche since I could remember.
Will upload a pic when I can figure out how to get it down to size.
Cheers
Jim

Re: Hi all
Thanks to @Bootsy for loading the pics.
Finally got a resizer app. Hopefully this works. The car was originally beige and one of the previous owners has changed it but I haven’t any info on the colour so hoping members can help.
I think it’s VW Black Berry real LL4U but wondered if it could be Bordeaux Red real 6808. Any thoughts would help, thanks. Jim

Re: Hi all
HiThomas, not sure why they are how they are mate. I bought it from a french dealer who was selling it on behalf of one of his mates.Bootsy wrote:So Jim, what do you know of the rear arches? They look flared all be it a very cool profile
It seems his mate isn’t sure either so can only assume they were flared when it had its respray. There isn’t one local to me to compare it, so trying to distinguish in pics of other 912’s.
I’d like to put some Fuchs on there but don’t want to waste money buying wheels that won’t fit.
I was at my local dealer in Poitiers today and the Fuchs on the RS’s appealed to me lol
Cheers

Re: Hi all
Guessing it's had some wider wheels on the back at some point.

Re: Hi all
I quite like the Group 4 Campagnolo wheels but smallest they do is 15 x 7.
