And am I correct in thinking, the MD (owner?) is Vic the drug dealer? Or possible ex-DD?

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

.

Sitting a little bit high, but this looks to be a nice car - &, compared to many of its comtemporaries, seems like good value for the money:

How much? Looks a bit like a Miura but not quite right at the back, is it?

That looks very nice with good long term ownership / provenance. Not sure about the interior colour, shame it is not an SS (just a bit early) but it seems to be a good honest car and fair value.

I like the interior too!

What's this? Looks like the spheres in the Citroen Hydropneumatic suspension.

Yes - Citroen owned Maserati from '68-'75 so the engine was shared with the Citroen SM ...

The yellow car has been for sale a while. I look at the ad every couple of months just in case they ever decide to reduce it to £35k. :)

There seems to have been some sort of odd agreement designers of exotic cars had in the 70s to make them beautiful from the front and side, but to then fit rectangular rear lights off caravans. Witness the Lambo Urraco, AMV8, 308 GT4 etc.

Yes, Merak's always seem to hang around for quite a while before finding a buyer.

True - but at least Maserati refrained from burdening the Merak with Morris Marina-style outer door handles ...

I knew they looked rubbish but didn’t realise they actually were off a Marina!

Other fun ones to google:

The Diablo 6.0 has Nissan 300 headlights.
The climate control screen on a Zonda is from a Rover 45.
The McLaren F1 has bus rear lights.

Etc.

Well the Diablo headlights I can forgive.

The fat cousin that is the LT Van shares more than any Porsche fanatic would like in the family bloodline. The mid 70s and early 80s 911s are not bespoke "everything matters" sprayed on the wall cars either are they?
