Is this the car from Greatworth swap meet?
Going on sale in 8 minutes... is this the car that was inside at Greatworth? Angus mentioned it was for sale.

1988 3.2 Carrera backdate, Black
2001 996 Turbo, Lapis blue (am I allowed to put that here?)
I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

No idea sorry but it does look like an interesting car with lots of history. Be interesting to see what it makes.

Agreed the wheels are very wrong as are the mirrors. Easy enough to switch though

Not so easy to get back to the original colour though (if the photos are anything to go by).

I didn't realise Tower Porsche were still going.
Jason (jb) might know the car as those pictures were taken local to him (just over the road from Wandsworth Town stn).

I actually think they looked kinda cool when they were fully polished (in the restoration pics). California Look vibes. Detailing them badly makes it look like a poor resto rather than a hot rod.Ralph wrote:Not sure about those wheels.......

Yep. I cycled past yesterday. No early cars in there that I could see, but the place is certainly still going.
I saw John / Jon pottering out back, but didn’t have time to stop chat.

I dont know what size the wheels are but the front tyres are 205x45 and the rear ones wider.
