Hi,
Does anyone know the paint code for Continental Orange ?
I have been asked by a local guy if I recall ever seeing a 356 painted in this colour.
I don't, but it rings a distant bell in my head.
Any of you guys know?
Cheers
Ian

Re: CONTINENTAL ORANGE
Jason’s ex-RSR rep was painted Contenental orange I believe. Don’t know if it’s the same as a 356 colour but he might know the paint code.

Re: CONTINENTAL ORANGE
.
Continental Orange was an IB colour - '76/'77 from memory - so never a colour originally available on a 356.
I had the nose/tail 'bands' on my 904 painted Continental Orange - Barrie might still have a note of the paint code.
Just remembered that the guy who painted my 904 ('6206' the 356 Metallic Silver) had an orange 356 Coupe replica which might have been Continental Orange -I'll see if I can find a picture of it.

There was a special order 'Orange' 356 colour for model years '57-'59 paint code 5711. A sunroof Carrera in this colour appeared at Hedingham a few times

Found this picture of the car I was thinking of (in my 904 build thread):
Can't remember if it was Continental Orange though (doesn't look like it in that photo) ...
