As you order those bits, check people actually have them.
there are global supply shortages, no mains bearings (Std) for 3.2 engines, and no timing chains (all aircooled).
I've been waiting for both from Design911 for 3 weeks.

Hi Kirk, the last 2 numbers aren't coming up, definitely the right parts but can't tell what size. Is there any other information on the box?

Parts are in store in the Midlands. I will retrieve them on Tuesday next week and keep you posted. From memory the shells are - 0.25 on the crank side.Diesel76 wrote:Hi Kirk, the last 2 numbers aren't coming up, definitely the right parts but can't tell what size. Oil pump tab washers are available from Design911 or Type911, but about £5 each (!)
Just made my own the other day, took 20 mins and a piece of slightly thicker sheet steel.

Further investigation from someone far more knowledgeable than me who also says the shells are for post '74 7R cases (but may fit some '73) as the tab is on the other side.
901 101 138 58 is #8 bearing std outer -0.50 inner
911 101 133 70 +0.25 outer -0.25 inner
901 101 131 70 +0.25 outer -0.25 inner
901 101 131 55 std outer -0.50 inner
I also have a new in the box 915 clutch release bearing.

Thanks for looking, unfortunately I don't plan to machine the case side (subject to it being straight when I put the crank back in!)BILLY BEAN wrote:Further investigation from someone far more knowledgeable than me who also says the shells are for post '74 7R cases (but may fit some '73) as the tab is on the other side.
