Update. no doubt due to my data being hawked around the net I've now been offered the same card reader for £20..

Pretty sure they make most of their money on the per transaction fees, which vary wildly per vendor.

SumUp card reader is £22 on Amazon. No contracts, but c.1.6% per transaction. Seems pretty good to me and probably the way to go for regular swapmeeters.

Set off this morning.. decided to take a weird long east coast route taking in the Humber bridge , cleeathorpes , cadwell park , Skegness !! … first time at Skegness and greated with the promenade being closed by the police due to an ‘incident’ ….And finally to a ddkers house in Cambridge. Only 7 hours of drivjng !!

Bardsleyperson- coming from someone who’s idea of style is to wear a tweed cap at all times - including in bed (ask me how I know ) that’s rich.
Sadly I can’t be there- have just finished running a 70 car epic trip 2600 kms of the Wild Atlantic Way for Porsche Club Ireland- finishing on Malin Head yesterday noon- another 800kms brought me home late last night.
