Thanks for the responses.

Appreciate it is probably an old ad, but it shows the car with a UK registration, in the original colour, even the paint tag on it, appears to be the original stamping as shown on the red car now, just cleaned up. Just wondering why there is no paperwork for the respray and work done in the UK?

It’s up to £55k now, which is getting uncomfortably close to ‘retail’ price, but if that’s not putting you off have a chat with Phil at Tech9, he’s a decent chap.

The V5 says the seller has only had it since January this year.

Slightly tatty paint, not matching numbers, presentable but useable. I want it.
There are a couple of pictures from the COY’s sale in 2017, plus a Google search shows it on display at a Rennsport open day, both when in the car was in a green colour.

That's weird - that Coy's link shows a 'hammer price' which seems to indicate that the car sold ...

- & yet, the photos of the car were taken at the current owner's house in Stratford-upon-Avon !

Coys own site also shows it sold at £51,750:

https://www.glenmarch.com/auction-cars/ ... 58/results

The ad says ‘owner for 5 years’ so I guess the sale in 2017 didn’t happen for whatever reason.

If only I wasn’t so lazy and had finished building my garage. I’d look an absolute don sawing away at the wheel of a 356 round the Newmarket Road roundabout.

Night and day restoration standards though. The arse-drizzle car looks really nicely done.

The brown car looks wonderful but I would be afraid to drive it from fear of spoiling it by getting it dirty.

Shame they didn't do a colour change on it when restoring!
